it's just one of those days when you suddenly feel wtf emo at 12am
i get them less often now though
WHAT I MEANT -
is something that maybe most of you guys in uk, singapore & hk won't understand or comprehend (no offence & puns intended)
There aren't a lot of third culture kids around.
(third culture kids = bord in one country, grew up in another and studied in another)
alone in my not-so-big room, late at night, weather outside now nothing like the spring that i know
it's just quite hard to take in
i guess the only way for this loneliness or sadness to go away is to sleep it away or have a good laugh
yet i m doing work
and i ve to wake up early tmr to go library, and work again
actually 'too much going on' just sums up how i feel and i am troubled by that.
and when the world sleeps like now at 2am and everything is so calm, peaceful and serene.
I just can't help but think about the emptiness i m feeling right now
and this is not just about missing old friends.
and coming back to visit doesnt really heal old wounds either, sometimes it just deepens the sadness

main thing about january is that I didnt do well for my exams and i m very disappointed!
FEB-
valentines day was great =)
decided to work and play harder mentally; have been able to acheived that physically only to a certain extent though!
MAR-

highlight > BUCS shooting championship, 5/6th team position, which wasnt great. 8th for individual, not bad; considering i screwed up!
life's pretty much going the right way i want it to be, gonna apply for elite athlete squad and get sponsorships and all!
EASTER JUST STARTED!
1st week - slack then paris with my lovely girlfriend =)2nd week - recharge and slowly get into working mood (although that could become 'singapore' if i suddenly decide to buy a ticket back without my parents knowing?)
3rd & 4th week - WORK & MUG REALLY HARD
p.s. sorry haven't blogged for 2 months, thanks to the reminder from my nice and kind housemate, TIFF, hahaha

2008 - what a year,
the only main feeling which came out from my heart when they were doing countdown on hk TVB
was that 'this year is much better than 2007'
better? what better.
i was forced to take the easy way through foundation.
but nevertheless, met a group of good friends in uk and of course, <3 as well
sorry to friends in singapore! havent been able to be able to keep in touch even once in a while
i miss u guys!
and after reflecting on the plane back to uk,
i realised that even though we might be close at heart, sometimes we just got to take some actions to keep our bond & friendship
my life is quite wonderfully happening and busy right now
i think maybe you guys' schedules are as well!
and i am sure in spite of crashing schedules and academic years and different countries' holidays, I would be able to meet some of you soon!

it's been one hell of a ride so far

and the 2 accountants from PwC are SO DAMN COCKY, cant speak well either

I wouldnt say its GREAT, but i do enjoy myself
been spending time finding out what societies are cool and fun to join
went out with international society to pub crawling, quite cool, met loads of ppl, think i m gonna join this one
accountancy society -- i guess this is a must-join!? get to know future colleagues =P
swimming & water polo -- time to be THAT swimmer again when i was in sec1! [havent gone trial-outs]
shooting -- OWNING MAN [in the team already...haha!]
but needa paid loads of money! haha £50 for sport centre membership, but i use every week, so quite worth it
and thinking of making a 5-a-side or a 7-a-side football with yeo and alexey to take part in intra-mural!!

today was quite okay,
met up with andy, boris n tiger
just that we reached ikea at 430, n we didnt know it was gonna close at FIVE.

rather lovely to see some friends after one month
oh well, tomorrow uni starts
omgosh man, a chapter in one's life. MY life that is.
i wouldnt say mine has been smooth sailing, i hope this chapter will be

but daniel's and my fingers are itchy again, so we went to play pool! hohoact cool!? haha

later at night, went to jj's house myself, had a lot of fun =)))))

18th early in the morning left jonny's house, move everything to hotel with meet with my parents, then at night go airport, fly~~~

result day was kind of informal. but i saw all kinds of reactions
i feel that i did excellent, albeit the difficulty (easy) of some papers
got 73 for my english, improved every aspects of english, having not studied english academically since eng lit & lang arts came along
and that would have happened if i carry on in IB, doing english A1.
but doing lit essays..i find it so helpful
i have NEVER done a business/econs essay in my life before (in an exam). the previous essays are all typed in a period of time before handing in. this was written. just like lit essay. so i guessed i just did the similar preparations
got 78.
dr micheal said he nvr cross-marked an essay this high.
a sense of both triumphant and relief came to immediately
did the same thing with my project (EE. 4000 words)..used same way i used for iso
success. 70%
i cant believe i got that grade for my MACROECON topic. i gave up half-way. like the last 25% of the piece of work is bullshit
its hard to hide ur happiness when ur new housemates all did well for exams. 4 all intact. 3 with scholarships

to reflect upon that, was quite risky. since we never really considered (passing the course) when we chose our housemates
i had that thought about a week before yesterday, yet i never had doubt in these 4
however, of cos, there's always a dark side to every story, isnt it?
so many didnt manage to meet the requirements for their course. they passed, but they didnt get the needed grades
there we were happily high-fiving and down the other side, they are so anxious, asking tutors what to do, asking for a re-sit, begging.
if u step back and look at it. it is like a painting.
